What We Do

Desktop Applications & Websites

For most users there are two types of software - stuff that runs on their machine (Desktop Applications) and stuff they access via the Internet (Websites - if sophisticated enough these are also called Rich Internet Applications).

We develop desktop applications as well as websites.

Development Services

We offer different software development services ranging from technical services to non-technical services to applying-common-sense services.

Depending on the size of the project the roles needed to create a new software tool can involve

• a systems analysist
• a software developer
• a user interface designer
• a graphic designer
• a testing operative
• a technical writer
• a deployment specialist.

Plus others! (including the client and users). Of course for most situations many of these roles will be carried out by the same person/people - but even so there is a fairly wide range of skills needed.

We have particular strengths in new product development (management of the process), coding (the technical stuff) and communicating.

Technical & End-User Support Services

Application Insight offers a range of technical support services both remotely and on-site.

For example, we can assist software vendors with installation, set up and maintenance at their clients' premises. As well as current technologies we are also expert in various legacy Microsoft-based technologies such as VB6 and VBA.
